Clark-Davis Families

William Henry Davis Jr. is the father of Norman Davis.

This picture of Robert James "Jim" Davis, great-grandfather of Norman Davis, was made shortly after the Civil War in which he was a Confederate soldier at Vicksburg, Mississippi. His mother was Mintie Peden, daughter of "Jackie" Peden and grand-daughter of Samuel Peden

Back row left to right: Lula D., Annie M., Thomas Alexander and Effie Prince. Malcolm W. Clark was the son of Malcolm "Makum" Clark, Sr., and Effie Wilkes. His wife Harriet, is the daughter of Robert James Davis and Annie P. Henry.

The family of Alexander Clark. Alexander is the son of Malcolm "Makum" Clark and a brother of Margaret Clark Davis. Front Row: Alexander Clark and second wife Anna (Young) Clark. Standing left to right: Nellie Virginia, Frances Effie, Alexander Clayborne, Daniel Felton and Laura Elizabeth who died at 19 or 20 with a ruptured appendix. The older children had married and moved.
